Do you use self tan?

Religiously – winter, summer – I can’t live without it!

What tanning brands do you swear by?

I’m a Palmers Cocoa Butter Gradual Tan www.palmersaustralia.com addict…it gets slapped on in under 5 minutes every other day and has never let me down with streaks or patching. My skin is quite olivery and while I’d be terrified of using something that create a very dark colour in one application, the Palmers adds just enough colour to get this season’s no-tan-tan’ – plus smells chocolatey rather than chemically. For tan emergencies, the new L’Oreal Sublime Bronze range delivers a professional finish in seconds.

What make up brands do you use?

I can’t get enough of Revlonat the moment for everything from foundation to lipsticks. Nars does great eye palettes, Mac can be relied on to create a trully pro look and Maybelline’s dream Mousse blush is the one product I’d take on a desert island.

Do you use Bronzers to enhance your tan?

I steer clear of bronzers in winter as it trends to make me look grubby rather than glowy but now that spring is on it’s way, I’ve just stasrted using the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick to add warmth to my face and contour my cheekbones.

Have you seen a big rise in models getting tanned for shoots?

Definitely tanning, like nails it has become the new accessory. I’ve also seen it at several shows – even if the look is so subtle the casual observer wouldn’t notice, it makes your overall look seem more polished.

Name one beauty product you can’t live without?

Aside from the Maybelline Dream blush, I can’t live without concealer Touche Eclat is my standby but I also love the new By terry Ultra Radiance Active Concealer Revon’s Minted green varnish is also destined to became my summer nail colour obsession.

What fashion accessory could you not live without?

Costume jewellery and Raybans all the way.

What do you think the new trend in tanning is this year?

I think it’s all about giving the skin a great finish, just as you would your hair or make-up rather than actually adding colour Shimmer tans that highlight collarbones and elongate the neck are also great for nights out.

Do you agree that people are going for a natural looking self tan these days rather than over dark ones?

Absolutely. I think the permatan has died a death and hopefully things will remain that way!
