Editor in Chief of Company Magazine reveals her beauty and fashion secrets.

Do you use self-tan products? If so what brands do you use?

I LOVE self tan. In fact I have acres of towels ruined by my addiction. No brand is left untried. I have St Tropez Everyday, I have Johnsons Holiday Skin, I have Clarins face tanner, I have Rimmel Sunshimmer as an extra boost for my legs. But my failsafe ‘have it for every bit of my body ‘is Lancaster.

What Make up brands do you swear by?

I love the smell of Bourjois blushers as it reminds me of being a teenager and being allowed to buy make up for the first time. I use Dior eyeshadow, Mac liquid liner and my fave new thing is the Clinique Chubby stick for lips.

Do you feel tanning has become more fashionable?

As long as its fake its fine. We’ve run a campaign on company for a couple of years now called Say No To Sundbeds – in fact we changed the law last year when coin operated beds for the under 18s were banned.

Do you think the days of the over-dark tans are over?

I hope so.

Do you have anything exciting happening that you want to share with us?

Our may issue is our ‘Reader Issue’ where all fashion and beauty is modeled by readers and this year they are on the cover too!

Name one item of makeup you can’t live without?

It has to be Mascara or bronzer.

How do you think the magazine world has changed over the last 10 years?

I think the magazine consumer has changed over the last ten years and we’ve had to change with them. They are a lot more looks obsessed than ever before but that could be because your every move is captured by someone and tagged on Facebook these days. Also the high street has become so much better that everyone can be a high fashion wearer.

Name one fashion accessory you could not be without?

A big chunky ring – I have several. They could do some damage.

What do you think the new beauty trends will be this year?

The 70s are everywhere – if you are brave enough to do glitter eyes and/or an afro then good luck to you.

What Celebrities do you think get it right?

I’m a bit obsessed with Elle McPherson on the school run – I know its all a bit obvious but I love her. Also love Olivia Palermo, Thandie Newton and Carey Mulligan.

Who is the most inspirational person you have meet?

Team Company – am I allowed to say that? They inspire me every day.

What are you doing after this interview?

What’s your favourite holiday destination?

Our house in South West France or Polzeath, Cornwall with friends – they are the only places I ever go on holiday.

Cab – I wear heels.
